DOWNCAST

DOWNCAST
by Dreamy Poetess

People don't really care,
They just don't understand.
When you don't have time to spare,
When you can't even stand.

When you are hit with mood swings,
And things spiral out of control.
You bear the weight it brings,
And what your problems extol.

People don't truly see,
They only pretend to know.
Yet, they wouldn't agree,
With the outcome of the blow.

I admit that I deny,
I, too, am guilty as charged.
Can't even open an eye,
Quick to judge, emotions enlarged.

People are hurt, that's for sure.
And sometimes they only feel,
But they don't think of the cure,
For the one that is so ill.

Misunderstandings are real,
Everyone carries their own flaws.
Close your mouth and seal the deal,
When feelings talk, it often misdraws.

But people can also relate,
Each person bears their own load.
Even if you can't translate,
Let your horizons expand and explode.

TULIRO

Ako ngayo'y lito at mayroong agam-agam. DOPPELGANGER

DOPPELGANGER by Dreamy Poetess Who are you? Who am I? Oh! I know you. Oh no, I don't. I'm confused. Are you me? Am I you? I just saw you. My soul stirs. They call me by your name. They call you by my name. But you're not me. And I'm not you. This is insane! It can't be true. You look like me. I look like you. You're my twin. Yet, you're a stranger. Having you is strange, My doppelganger.

FLEETING ILLUSIONS

FLEETING ILLUSIONS by Dreamy Poetess In weariness, I stand, yet I refuse to yield, Though life's burdens weigh heavy in this field. Witnessing the transformation, hearts rearranged, The pain lingers, how much they have changed. "What you see is what you get," or so they say, But the truth eludes, obscured in a deceptive play. A sudden epiphany dawns, unveiling the veil, As the fantasy shatters, leaving me to bewail. Unforeseen is the ache when illusions fade, Yearning for more, trapped in memories that cascade. The thirst for enchantment, an insatiable desire, To recapture the magic, fueled by longing's fire. Yet, in this revelation, a chance to evolve, To let go of fantasies and problems absolve. Seeking truth beyond the mirage, find solace in real, Embracing the bittersweet, the wounds begin to heal. For in tiredness, strength finds its way, Resilience awakened, to face a brand-new day. Through the pain and longing, growth will reside, As I embrace the journey, no l...
